Life in Panamá as a Peace Corps Volunteer was quite the adventure.

Recording the experience through film was a project I invented long before I left the United States to live abroad, and the research that went into film preservation techniques, camera repair and maintenance, and eventually safely internationally shipping film for development paid off. I am lucky to have had a network of individuals in the United States willing to invest their own time and money in this project, developing my film, sending film, and uploading scanned film for my own access; to them I am extremely grateful.

All photos have been shot on a Nikon FM 2 body, with a 35 mm lens. I have been using a combination of Kodak Ektar 100, Kodak Portra 160, and Kodak Portra 400 film.
